  Not a bad little house. It's a bit of work to find the key, find the unit, they even describe getting in as a "scavenger hunt" on the instructions. Also, they gave us one key and there were two of us staying so there is no way for one person to get back in without the other. The security gate to the garage is a lot. Once you finally get in there, the house is nice. May not be bad for a family of two or three that are planning to go everywhere together.

  The condo is close to Duval Street at the somewhat quieter end, unless you count the roosters crowing in the early hours. I’m pretty sure the roosters are the alarm clocks of Key West!
  The condo was clean and in good condition. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils, pots and pans but no consumables such as spices, salt and pepper. I mention this because I like to cook. There is a good food store a few minutes walk away for anything you need.
  The living room is spacious but could use some more seating if you have more than 4 people staying. The bedrooms were as described with one being much larger than the other. If you are traveling with another couple you might have to draw straws to see who gets the larger one!!
  The bathrooms were basic but well maintained and there is a bonus half bath off of the living room.
  The condo has two outdoor areas that were nice to sit out in the cooler parts of the day. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked clean and well maintained.
  We had a great time staying here. The restaurants and bars are minutes away and you are well located for all of the main attractions on Key West.

  My college friends and I decided to take a trip to Key West. There were 5 of us and this place had plenty of space for us. The property's communication was consistent so we always knew what to expect. Admittedly there seemed to be a bit of paperwork after we booked. It wasn't too big of a deal, but you definitely have to be on the look out for the things that need to be completed. After that's completed, leading up to the the trip and arriving to the property was easy and we were able to get in with no issues.
  
  This property is walkable to nearly everything in Key West. There is a corner store a block away, which is really handy. The A/C works well. I will say that the upstairs back bedroom is much warmer than the rest of the house, but they provide a portable A/C unit.

  We had a nice time, we’ve stayed at this location many times. It’s convenient and walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped with all that we needed and the living room was comfortable and for socializing. We even enjoyed the patio a couple times when it wasn’t too hot. The bedrooms were adequate, the master would have been terrific if it had a king size bed. The other bedroom was very hot, no air circulation at all and our girls said the beds were not very comfortable. That is really our only complaint.

One thing I would recommend is for everyone to bring ear plugs. The roosters walking around ****-a-doodle-do every 10 seconds all night long!!   As you often hear, the pictures of this rental did not do it justice. The condo boasted plenty of space, sizable rooms, and every amenity you could need in a week away from home.
  
  It was centrally located - legitimately - to everything. You are walking distance to the most popular bars in town, to numerous beaches, to convenience stores, and to a plethora of restaurants. We rented bikes for the trip and found that we hardly even needed them!
  
  Having a full size kitchen also allowed our party to stock up on food, drinks, and snacks - and not have to rely on eating out for every meal (or trying to stuff leftovers in a minifridge that inevitably get tossed out).
  
  Best yet, this condo was located in a quieter part of Duval Street, so rarely were you distracted but the bustle of the city - outside of the occasional roosters.
  
  Highly recommend you consider this unit for your next stay!

The only difficulty was the instructions of where to get the key (need a picture of where the double door gate is from the parking lot (entrance off Simonton) to get the initial key to get into the gated area.

  We had 5 people staying at this location and we were very comfortable and pleased with the whole experience! Place was clean, had plenty of dishes, and a nice deck and patio. All appliances worked. I needed assistance to access the key box for my parking pass. I was able to contact the maintenance manager immediately when I called and he was very patient with me and walked me through opening the lock box. I was using the wrong code, haha!
  Looking forward to book again next year. Oh and by the way, when you are tired from shopping, the pool area is awesome and clean. What a great place to meet new people and hang out with a beer (Or two)

  Had asked for an early check-in and they failed to notify us the property was ready so we spent several hours wondering around in the heat. At 4:00 pm went to the unit but the lockbox wasn't working. Another half hour getting a hold of the maintenance guy to let us in. He was, however, extremely nice and helpful. Between the aggrevation and heat we were done and could not enjoy our first night in Key West. With the exception of dirty dishes that had been put away the unit was nice and clean. The location was perfect. Away from the crowds but close to everything. Just wish there was better communication concerning getting the keys and leaving them at check-out but that could just be my lack of traveling experience.

  Communication from the management was excellent and they were quick to answer any questions I had about the reservation before, during or after the stay.
  
  The check in process was very easy, we landed after office hours but were easily able to make a quick stop in the taxi to pick up keys from lockbox. We were given a parking pass for garage parking (we didn’t need it) which would have come in handy had we drove.
  
  The apartment was huge, plenty of seating downstairs with a large outside area off the living room, the upstairs bedroom were very clean and each had their own full bath. The master also had large flatscreen TVs with cable and a nice outdoor space
  
  Some of the furniture in the living space was a little dated but everything was really clean and tidy. Some updates had been made to the unit, kitchen was new and spotless and central air in the unit was great.
  
  The location was perfect for us to walk to anywhere we wanted (Duval St, Southernmost point, Hemingway House around the block, or any of the restaurants we had picked to eat at). Although the unit is situated above a small area with 2/3 restaurants, the noise was minimal and the restaurants close at 10:30, meaning it never affected our sleep.
  
  If we come back to KW in the future, this will definitely be the first place we look up!

  The experience was average. The location is the redeeming factor for the entire experience. The furnishings are below average. The A/C cannot cool the entire unit during the day, and it was first week of March. There is a supplemental unit in the master bedroom upstairs, which requires keeping all bedroom doors open to disperse the air. Floors and carpet on the stairwell must have been dirty. The bottoms of our feet would get dirty. While I failed to carefully read all the emails and promptly download the property app, the contact at the property mgmt company was not friendly when contacted after hours. If you're OK w/ average accommodations in great proximity to the southern end of Duval, this property is recommended.

  We had a great time in Key West and the BMW Fantasy worked out just fine. It is located in a perfect spot to be able to walk to just about anywhere. Even though it was above some shops, it was relatively quiet. For warning though, there are rosters everywhere and that will be the longest part of your visit. :)
  
  Like previous replies, it is a bit dated and could be really good with just a few recent updates. Some of the items look to be straight out of the '80s still. But overall, very clean and no issues.
  
  The main bedroom is very spacious, but the extra bedroom is tiny. Also, there is no central air upstairs, so they use a portable unit to heat the upstairs. That unit is situated in the master bedroom, so the extra bedroom doesn't get much help.
  
  Hopefully, you like cats as well, as the complex seems to have 2 cats that are very friendly roam around. Some reason, probably my cat lady gf, they welcomed us each morning and night. :)
  
  Other than that, had a great time. No issues.

  This rental property was just as described. The rental company was very easy to work with and accommodating. The rental property was located right on Duval Street so we were a short walk from all of the entertainment. We really enjoyed the group of shops and restaurant downstairs in Duval Square. It was convenient to just walk down and grab a coffee or breakfast in the morning. The shared pool area was also really nice. We didn't use the pool, we were just too busy on our short trip, but we did sit around it during the mornings drinking our coffee and planning out our adventures for the day.

  The location was perfect right in the heart of Key West on Duval Street. The apartment was perfect although it sleeps 6 we only used one pull out downstairs, Apartment came with a second floor patio overlooking two restaurants. Pool was refreshing. Apartment was in excellent condition although we did very little cooking other than breakfast the kitchen was supplied with all the tools to produce a 5 course meal. I would say well worth the find compared to hotel room in Key West.

  Really nice place. We would definitely stay again. The only downside is the neighbor is a little bossy as she complained we were talking out on the patio at 10 p.m. We are not very noisy people. It was only three of us. But other than that it was a very very nice place. Fully equipped and clean. We would definitely like to stay again. There was no TV in the bedroom with the two single beds. That would have been nice but not necessary.

  BMW Fantasy was the perfect place to enjoy our stay in Key West. Four of us (two couples, all in our 60's) flew to Florida, drove to Key West for the experience, and turned our car in at the airport when we got there. This location was ideal for walking everywhere in town. We never missed the car. We toured the Hemingway home, the Truman White House, and the Butterfly Conservatory, enjoyed several days on the beach, and had fabulous meals out most nights. The nice thing about renting a condo is that we made our own breakfast in the morning and stayed in for dinner twice. We enjoyed the patio and the condo pool. Becky, the property manager, was wonderful to work with. If we get back to Key West, we would stay here again.

  Nice condo in a great location. Very well kept with everything you could need for your stay. There were four of us and the space was plenty large, and having 2.5 bathrooms helped a lot in the mornings. Only downside was the upstairs bedrooms tend to get a little warm, and the window blind in the smaller 2 bed room wouldn't close properly and gets direct morning sun blinding the person in the bed under it. We hung a sheet over it to fix, but that should be repaired as it's pretty bright.

  This unit was well equipped with anything you may need to cook and clean. There were many extra towels, sheets and blankets if you need them. The unit was clean. The pool was great. The Italian restaurant outside the unit was great and very accommodating when we needed that late evening Key-Lime-Pie-fix.
  A couple of negatives: The living room furniture needs updating desperately and the pull-out couch is falling apart. There were 5 of us staying in the unit and they only have two sets of keys so having a third set of keys for that last person/couple was a big inconvenience.

  Recently had a weekend for 6 people at this location. It was perfect. Located on Duval Street so it was a short walk to all the action, but not at the center of the action itself.
  
  The condo was 2 stories, has nice rooms, and it had some air mattresses so all of us could sleep comfortably.
  
  The pool was OK -- definitely not the highlight. But the location is what makes it. A short walk (5-15min) to either the beach, Southernmost Point, Hemingway House, and all the nightlife on Duval. Plus it overlooks an outdoor restaurant area where there are some great eating options just downstairs.
  
  It was a great Key West and I would definitely considering coming back to this location!

The scooter/e-car rental place was right across the street and they were awesome.   The property location was convenient to Duval Street. It is across from the New York Pasta Garden, so you smell garlic and italian food daily (not that it is a bad thing). There was only a few things wrong: 1. the upstairs master shower drain was clogged. On check out I mentioned it. 2. The new office doesn't have a key drop yet. 3. I didn't want to go home. It is a completely secure building with a secured parking space. I would rent again, hoping I hit the lotto to buy the place.

  The condo itself was good but there are a couple things that could be done or on hand to go just that little bit further.
  1) There should be more than just 4 bath towels in the condo, especially since there were 4 of us.
  2) Beach towels on hand would be nice.
  3) There was a horrible smell upon opening the condo when we first arrived and it was there off and on again during out stay. It smelled like a bad drain to me and I believe it got worse when we were doing laundry. It definitely needs to be looked at, very bad.
  Condo itself was completely fine other than what I've stated. I'd stay again and just hope that they've resolved the bad drain smell for good. The pool was nice for the late afternoon dip.

  Very easy check-in at the property management office. Major drawbacks - 5 people in unit but only 2 sets of keys. Only 1 parking space and no street parking anywhere nearby. Had to leave one car at management office which was on the other side of the island. Unit was in a great location with a super restaurant next door, New York Pasta Garden, with the friendliest servers and great food. The unit furnishings were a little outdated, would have preferred at least a full-sized bed in the second BR instead of 2 twins, but having 2.5 baths was great. Could not use the pull out sofa bed in the living room because the springs were broken and mattress was stained, reported this to the management company. Very nice pool area. Would like to rent at this complex again maybe in another unit.

  The property was in an excellent location to enjoy Old Key West. Walked to everything. The apartment was nicely furnished and very comfortable.Never used the car which was in a secure location. My children and I would return again.

  Very good experience. Major problem was only having two keys. We had 5 people staying - 2 couples and a single. Made it very difficult to plan. Also there was no internet which might be a dealbreaker for a second stay. Also, it was a little difficult to find when we first arrived. We couldn't find the entrance from Duval Square downstairs. Otherwise it was very clean and worked out very well for our stay. Laundry was a great feature. Location was good - on Duval Street, but away from the noise. We had a good time. Thank you!

  This condo had every we needed for our short stay in Key West.
  It was spacious and confortable - I was hesistant at first as the photos on the web site are not very flattering. But when we arrived everything was up to scratch.
  The outside terrace on the ground floor has the aircon unit installed on it so it was not very usable, but this was no major problem.
  We did not try the shared pool.
  We were in Key West and made the best of the fantastic position of the condo on the quieter end of Duval street.
  No need for the car, happily parked in the private gated lot.
  We walked every where and made the best of our stay.

  The house is just off of Duval, close enough to walk the "Duval Crawl" easily but far enough away that you don't hear the party on the street while you're trying to sleep. The parking garage is super convenient! The property is also very close to several sites... the lighthouse, Hemingway House, South Beach, etc. The only things we drove to were the dock where we chartered fishing/dive boats (because it was back up at the North end of the island) and Ft Zachary Taylor State Park. We probably could have walked to the park but it was easier to drive it. The unit itself was clean and comfortable. Our only "complaint" for the week was the lack of a broadband connection. Not having internet access for a week was a bit frustrating. (There is an internet cafe right around the corner but that's not the ideal solution.)

  We very much enjoyed our stay here, and plan on returning. Perfect location, beautiful grounds and pool - seems as though you are living in a tree house, which we loved. Only complaint would be pick-up/return of keys - not at all convenient. It was a $40 taxi ride to pick up keys and, if my brother-in-law were not a runner, it would be another $40 taxi ride to return the keys. Should be a lock box outside unit. Other than that, we enjoyed this condo very much.

  This is a nice condo in a great location. We (two couples) had a very nice stay. One BR (theirs) was much nicer than the other (ours). I had to take care of a few minor maintenance items. There was no housekeeping service during our stay - but it wasn't really needed.

  This was my first experience staying in a condo when on vacation and I must say, I'll do it again. The property is very well situated near some nice restaurants and a 24 hour convenience store. It is on the far end of Duval Street, so you have peace, but quick access to the crazy parts of Key West, too. The propoerty itself was clean, well equipped, comfortable and had nice balconies. My only problem was a musty smell when you first entered which dissipated when the place got aired out a little. It was light and airy, the beds were comfortable, and the balconies were much better situated than some on other units. There is a rooster who will wake you up on occasion, and as an added bonus, a couple of cockatiels and macaws living in the courtyard. They were fun. Aces all around, I would stay here again.
