Pelican Landing Aruba Retreat

Our beautiful waterfront condos have a range of room types to suite your every need. Whether you want a suite for two or a penthouse for up to twelve guests you will enjoy your stay at Pelican Landing. If traveling with a boat, the facility is boat accessible by powerboat only, because a fixed bridge offers only an 18-foot clearance. The marina offers 16 boat slips accommodating vessels up to 45 feet with a 13-foot beam. Clean your catch at the dock’s fish cleaning station available to all our guests. Then take a few steps to the open-air poolside grill and learn the meaning of fresh fish. Pelican Landing is a short walk to a marina where world-class fishing and scuba charters can be engaged. After spending some time on the water, you might want to enjoy the charms of Old Town and Duval Street. Luckily, a quick bicycle ride is all it takes. Our facility is located just one short mile the Duval Street area. Across the street from Pelican Landing is Bayview Park where you can play tennis, shoot hoops, or just hang out.



Retreats (for 6 – 8 people) feature two bedrooms and two private baths. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two queen beds, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a dining area. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, blender, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and breakfast bar. Living room and one bedroom has sliding glass doors which open onto a private balcony overlooking the water. Other room features are central A/C, ceiling fans, large walk-in closets, cable TV in living room and bedrooms, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and beach towels. Pelican Landing’s heated swimming pool is surrounded by a sundeck. There is a minimum stay requirement on weekends, during special events and holidays, and during season.



One boat slip is included with this Retreat. Each Retreat can only accommodate one boat; no exceptions. Trailer parking is not available on property. Trailer parking and additional boat slips are available across the harbor at the City of Key West Marina. Please contact the dock master’s office to make arrangements for trailer storage and/or additional boat slips at 305-809-3981.


Families are welcomed in our vacation rentals. Student groups are not permitted. Our minimum age requirement to rent is 25 years old. Everyone in your party must be 25 years old to check in unless accompanied by a parent. No Birthday Bachelor or Bachelorette parties. No Pets

  The location was convenient to Duval Street and Mallory Square. We enjoyed our stay but with Key West and guests coming home late at night you're able to hear them walking up stairs and by your door at night. Generally, this wouldn't be an issue but we were there with kids under 10. Overall, the unit was clean but could use a deep clean as baseboards were dusty, etc.

  We loved our unit! It was spacious and clean. The double beds in the second bedroom weren’t the most comfortable and come prepared with paper products. Also there was no Tupperware!! The side street can be a bit noisy but tolerable. The live music from the cafe next door was perfect! Having access to ice was great and the fish cleaning station was perfect! It’s unfortunate that the afternoon sun is blocked by the building while using the pool, but if you prefer the shade that would be a bonus! Definitely coming back!!!

  This particular unit was fine for our needs overall. The air conditioner rocks, takes care of any humidity. You are only 1 mile away from Mallory square easy to walk. We were on the 1st floor, our patio had access to the heated pool, TiKi bar and grills which was great we did not need to use the elevator. Each unit is decorated by the owner, so what they update is up to them unless it is warranted. This unit could use a bit of aesthetic updating in the kitchen cupboards and dishwasher as well as the bedrooms all needed new mattress's, both bathrooms need some updating, no hairdryer in one, the other the exhaust fan didn't work, and ceiling tiles need replacing. We spend most of our time outside and soaking up the Key West fun, so these were some suggestion for the owner to update. We would definitely stay here again but in another unit, that had the updates taken care of.

  I have stayed in condos in better condition in various different vacation locations, but for the price in comparison to other vacation rentals in Key West this condo was sufficient. I was not at the condo much of the time, mainly to sleep and get going in the mornings. The condo is really in need of some tender loving care, new furniture and some sprucing up, but was clean and in a fairly good location to access points of interest in Key West. I mostly used a cab to get around and never had a problem getting a cab within a few minutes to the condo. The main downside during my stay was that the condo is located on the first floor just over top of the drive through garage and motorcycles were parked in the garage. Sleeping was interrupted as the motorcycles came and went, at all times of the day and night.

  I was happy about how things were handled when there was a problem. Kitchen disposer and the hair dryer was out of order when I arrived, but when I reported it, within minutes,, a maintenance guy came. When the dryer was unfixable, it was replaced by a new one.
  The room was spacious. The balcony was nice; we had breakfast every morning there.

  We rented two condos at Pelican Landing on the first floor with great access to the pool. Everyone that stayed there was wonderful. Lots of party going on!!!The condos are very spacious and had everything we needed. However, the pool had nothing in it but had a black film around the tile and probably just needs a real good clean. Lots of lawn chairs and gas grills and Tiki bar for fun. There is also boat slips for anyone traveling with a boat and it was awesome to watch the fisherman come back and cook the fish they caught. Very Key West!!! Our condos did also have some unexpected visitors “roaches”. We are in the keys so bugs are expected..and the building manager sprayed as soon as we notified them. Overall, we would absolutely stay there again!...roaches and all....

  My party had a great time staying at your location, we rented a total of 6 units. My only concern was the manner some of the employees I spoke with over the phone. I feel that they were upset that I had some questions and it seemed like I was inconveniencing them at times, on one occasion i called to see if the rooms had irons and the response I received was that "we even have sheets on the beds" totally unacceptable!! Luckily the property was in a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks again!

  We have been staying at Pelican Landing for the last 6 years. We were disappointed this year in several things. One, we had maid service 2 times in 14 days which required me to wash towels and sheets in that we had several different guests joining us over
  our 2 week stay. Secondly, the entire time we were there no one ever washed the tile in the swimming pool. The tile was a greasy mess!

People left trash and food by the pool,left the filet station filthy with fish slime , turned off the ice maker, and making the pool impossible to enjoy. unfortunately no one was available during the chaos to clean and make the rowdy guests calm down. the management was very nice but there needs to be more control of the guests to make sure everyone has a good time and can enjoy the facilities
