Pelican Landing Eleuthera Retreat

Our beautiful waterfront condos have a range of room types to suite your every need. Whether you want a suite for two or a penthouse for up to twelve guests you will enjoy your stay at Pelican Landing. If traveling with a boat, the facility is boat accessible by powerboat only, because a fixed bridge offers only an 18-foot clearance. The marina offers 16 boat slips accommodating vessels up to 45 feet with a 13-foot beam. Clean your catch at the dock’s fish cleaning station available to all our guests. Then take a few steps to the open-air poolside grill and learn the meaning of fresh fish. Pelican Landing is a short walk to a marina where world-class fishing and scuba charters can be engaged. After spending some time on the water, you might want to enjoy the charms of Old Town and Duval Street. Luckily, a quick bicycle ride is all it takes. Our facility is located just one short mile the Duval Street area. Across the street from Pelican Landing is Bayview Park where you can play tennis, shoot hoops, or just hang out.



Retreats (for 6 – 8 people) feature two bedrooms and two private baths. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two queen beds, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a dining area. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, blender, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and breakfast bar. Living room and one bedroom has sliding glass doors which open onto a private balcony overlooking the water. Other room features are central A/C, ceiling fans, large walk-in closets, cable TV in living room and bedrooms, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and beach towels. Pelican Landing’s heated swimming pool is surrounded by a sundeck. There is a minimum stay requirement on weekends, during special events and holidays, and during season.



One boat slip is included with this Retreat. Each Retreat can only accommodate one boat; no exceptions. Trailer parking is not available on property. Trailer parking and additional boat slips are available across the harbor at the City of Key West Marina. Please contact the dock master’s office to make arrangements for trailer storage and/or additional boat slips at 305-809-3981.


Families are welcomed in our vacation rentals. Student groups are not permitted. Our minimum age requirement to rent is 25 years old. Everyone in your party must be 25 years old to check in unless accompanied by a parent. No Birthday Bachelor or Bachelorette parties. No Pets

  Based on the pictures, I thought this was going to be great. The little things made it just ok. The dishwasher, when open starts to fall toward out of its place in the cabinets. The washing machine is not level and bangs around on uneven floor, the 2nd bathroom shower doesn’t drain properly, and water never gets hot enough.

  My family and I have come to this property multiple times and we always enjoy our time there. Every time we try to bring more family and friends to enjoy a great vacation at the keys. The problem I found most relevant with this property is that the units are not being maintained to meet expectations and make people feel at home. We stayed 7 days and rented 3 units of which all six bathrooms and overall condition of the units were not properly cleaned and everything is rotting. I think the company or owners should start investing in remodeling their units my family / and friend were not satisfied and would probably not recommend the place to others for this reason. I would love to go back and see that there has been improvement because my husband and I truly enjoy staying at this property but I will wait to see if anything is done about their overall maintenance of the rooms and cleanliness.

  Great setup for two couples! We traveled with my parents (my Dad was a Navy man stationed in Key West in the late '50s). Loved watching the activity in the bight. Esp. the fishing boats and floating tiki bar! Elevator access was great for the folks. Really clean accommodations. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Staff was excellent! Very accommodating with late check-in and printing departure boarding passes. The only drawback was having the Key West Emergency services located across Rt.1. When we were sitting on the balcony, we heard the Fire/Ambulance whenever they left. The noise was greatly reduced when inside the condo with sliding doors closed.
  Trip highlights: Conch Train tour (my parents were there when the first tour went out), drinks and entertainment @ Sloppy Joe's on Duval, and a fabulous dinner @ Blue Heaven. Favorite breakfast: Harpoon Harry's!

Our family of 4 spent the entire week fishing, diving and lobstering. Many great memories created and lobster caught. We patronized the establishment next door on several occasions and hope they do well. Their live music on Friday night was enjoyed from our balcony. Highly recommend for the avid sportsman due to great boat access/docking, processing station, and convenient location to Duval/restaurants. Really do not want to share the secret.

  First off let me say that the pictures don't do this place justice... Number 1 its bigger than it seems in the pictures, much bigger. Also its even nicer in person than it is in the pictures. Nice/large kitchen, washer and dryer, both bedrooms are huge. Balcony is enormous as well. The only thing that would make this place any better is if there was a suitcase full of cash sitting on the table waiting for you when you checked in. I loved my stay, and will likely book it again for fantasy fest next year.

  Our family had a great vacation at this location. Our kids and their friends loved fishing right off the deck - nurse sharks and mangrove snapper were plentiful. The location is 1 mile from Duval Street with easy access to the entire island. The rental was clean and this is actually the first rental we've had where enough paper towels and garbage bags were supplied for our entire 6 day visit. We reported three things during our stay - a blind that fell, no hot water available at the kitchen sink and the master bathroom toilet was running. My husband repaired the toilet before staff could, the kitchen sink was repaired and the blind was replaced - all done very quickly. We also enjoyed parking our boat at no additional cost and having access to fresh water for rinse downs at the boat slip area. Having an ice machine was a nice added touch. We had 7 people in our party and the place was plenty big enough for our party. Thank You

  This was our second stay at the Pelican Landing. Previously we rented one of the Penthouses. In this trip we rented two apartments since we were traveling with our children and their two small beagles and the owners will not allow more than one dog per apartment. Fortunately our apartments were connected through their balconies and it was as if we were in one apartment. Just like last time we enjoyed the spacious apartments. There were a few minor issues but they were inconsequential (spring in dishwasher door not working, dinner table legs were loose, half of the toaster was not working). We informed the management and they promptly took care of the issues. Don't be discourage if the management feels a little impersonal during the reservation process. We will definitely stay at the Pelican again.

  Me and seven of my friends stayed at The Eleuthera Retreat. It was perfect! Plenty of space and everyone slept comfortably - with the exception of the pull out couch but I've never heard of a comfortable pull out couch! We brought an air mattress and it worked out great. We cooked out on their grills and hung out by the pool which was great.The property managers were awesome and very helpful. We took cabs to Duval which was $4 a person. Not bad. Overall they made my birthday weekend a wonderful experience. Thanks!

  Everything went pretty smoothly. We got a noise complaint from some of the other guests, but that may have been our fault since we were up past 4 both nights of our stay, and there did seem to be some families staying there. But we hung out at the pool during the day and had no problem sharing it with the other guests. Duval street is a $3/person cab ride or a twenty minute walk. your choice. Condos are good size, we had no problem getting our 8 guests comfortably into the Eleuthera. Good times.

  The apartment was the ideal set up for a group to share. It was VERY clean, fully stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, etc., in excellent condition overall. The location was a short walk from town but not very far at all. The pool was well maintained and the office staff was super helpful. It was an easy place to stay and very enjoyable overall - I'd come back anytime!

  Full retreat worked out great for our entourage of 7 people. Room was great warm clean and well equipped. Too close tom US1, tight parking, uncompfortable bed, view only harbor. Few english speaking staff. Overall excellent accomodations.

  This is a great place to stay. Spacious and easy to get to.
  About another review: we too had black on our feet/socks when walking around the place - but we learned from our boat captain that the whole island is like this because it is coral dust. He washed off the floor of the boat because it was all black from people walking on the deck (which is constantly washed off) onto the boat because you just can't get away from the black coral dust since the island is all coral.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Pelican Landing Eleuthera Retreat! It was so clean, the condo had everything in it we needed & the staff was very helpful if we needed anything. The pool is awesome!! We went in January, it was warm so we were able to swim and it was also perfectly clear & clean! The other guests in the building were also very nice, it's a quiet place but the people are very friendly! The neighborhood around the condo is great, the views are gorgeous & I would definitely recommend this for anyone to stay at! We were a family of 8 with 2 kids under 10 & we felt safe, had a blast & will definitely be coming back soon! A++++++

  The floors made your feet black. The neighbors were noisey a few nights. The balconies were great, beautiful view and lots of room and it was nice that we were able to move between our balcony and the one in the next unit.

  The place was great. The only complaint that I had was the floor was really dirty. In the future, I would recommend that the floor be mopped in between each guests stay.
